![]() Version 1.5 includes the following new features:Ĭomplete code rewrite to the latest version 3 of SASL We have been continuously incorporating this feedback into our simulated flight model to achieve the most broadly acceptable standard going into XP12. We have also been in contact with many real-life RV builders/owners who have offered us tons of feed back on the flight model and performance aspects of our model in the simulator compared to their actual aircraft. This introduces many new features we were able to leverage into more flexible and dynamic custom additions to our models' Garmin G430 and G1000 primary and multi-function cockpit displays. The first and most significant update was to completely rewrite our SASL plugin code while moving to the latest version 3 of SASL. All three of those models introduced new ideas and techniques we are now applying to the RV-8s. This update of our RV-8 models concentrates on further developing the XP11 version of the model and introducing features developed from our T-7A Red Hawk, F-22A Raptor and still yet to be released T-6A Texan II. All our efforts from here on will be focused on the X-Plane 12 version of the model and creating the same accurate flight model in 12 as we have established in 11.Īll existing X-Plane 11 RV-8 customers will get the X-Plane 12 version free when we deem the new flight model at least flyable and preferably identical to the current X-Plane 11 standard. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is the end of the runway for the RV-8s in X-Plane 11. ![]()
